Zuggy’s Gold Mastery Guide is not one guide, but actually six different guides. In Zuggy’s guide, you get guides for grinding, cashing in on professions, limited items, daily quests, auction house mastery, and a tools and tips guide; essentially all the activities to get gold in wow.

Zugy’s Gold Guide is a set of Abobe PDFs, each one covering a specific aspect of WoW gold making. The topics covered are:

* The Limited items listing – Resell hard to find items for big profits
* Daily Quests – Get gold, rep, and items for not a lot of work.
* Tools and Tips – What to get and how to install them
* Grinding Guide – Where to go, what to kill
* Auction House guide – Where the biggest money is made
* Professions Guide – Get some gold back out of these money hogs
* A Start Here guide which will orient you to the bigger picture.

The Limited Items and Daily Quest Guides

For those that don’t know, Daily Quests are quests, centering around Shattrath City in the Outlands, but also found elsewhere, that can be repeated once per day, each time resulting in a cash reward. Many of these quests also reward reputation and items.

Limited Items are items found on venders throughout the world that are only available in limited numbers. Usually 1 to 3 items are available at a time.Once bought these items are gone from that vendor until he or she gets new stock in, which might be 20 minutes or several hours.

Why would you want to bother with limited items? Because many, if not most, of them sell on the Auction House for a lot more than you paid for them.

Zuggy’s Guide comes with a complete listing of both the limited item vendors and the available daiy quests. The vendors are sorted by area, but exact locations are not included. You’ll know is that the snake vendor is in Orgrimmar, but you won’t know where.

You can easily find this information via Thottbott.com, but it would have been nice to have it included in the guide.

As for the Daily Quests, Zuggy’s Guide gives you list of all the quests with links to WoWHead for more info. Each quest is rated in the guide, and Zuggy tells you whether or not the quest is worth your time.

Professions Gold Guide

Most Gold Guides tell you get into the gathering professions such as Mining and Skinning, and then sell the stacks you get. This isn’t bad advice, but for those of you that aren’t into the whole gathering thing, Zuggy provides you with plenty of tips for making gold without gathering, such as his favorite non-gathering profession, enchanting, and gives you plenty of tips form getting gold in WoW with that one.

Other professions that can bring in at least some gold, to offset the leveling costs, are Blacksmithing, Engineering, Leatherworking, Alchemy, Jewelcrafting, and Tailoring.

Specific tips and items to make are given for each of these professions. Some maps are provided for the gathering skills. Following the profession tips will definitely increase your gold stash.

Grinding Guide

Let’s face it, Grinding is pretty boring and quite tedious, albeit profitable. Zuggy does suggest a bit grinding specifically Mountain Dew and Tunes, and he also shows you the most in demand items to grind for, such as motes, skins, and ores.

With the dull part aside, Zuggy gives tips for fast and efficient grinding, where to go, and what to look for. The only downside is that much of this is for Outlands level characters, but then that’s where the more valuable stuff happens to be.

Auction House Guide

If you really want to be a gold making machine in the World of Warcraft you need to really learn the Auction House. It’s not just a place to dump your loot from that last grinding session.

By the way, a “banker,” mentioned below, is just a dedicated character who you never level. It’s only purpose is to handle all of your Auction House deals. Zug goes into great detail on making a good banker alt.

Do the Auction House right and you can give up gold grinding and farming.

In a seperate section devoted to the Auction House, Zuggy covers:

* Which tools to use, where to get them how to install them, and, most importantly, how to use them for maximum profit. So not only do youi learn how to get the Auctioneer addonup and running, you’ll learn how to use its scan, post, appraise, and bottom scan functions.

* Buying strategies, such as what and when to buy and sell (and what not to buy.) This is important. Buy the wrong stuff for resale (eg: blue/epic weapons) and you’ll lose your shirt. Judging by all the naked bankers I see I guess some are already in that position.

* Hot items to look for, stock, and use to dominate the Auction House for large profits. While there are a lot of items you can use there are a few that are consistent producers and he goes into those.

* Optimal pricing. In addition to paying attention to your profit margins you have to pay attention to the requried deposit, if any, on your items, so Zuggy provides a lot of good pricing advice.

* Why is Tuesday so great? I’m following his advice. I invested quite a bit in his recommended items and am doing the Tuesday sell. I expect that I’ll do quite nicely.

About the only thing that I wouild like to have added here is video, such as the auction house videos provided by Dugi’s Ultimate World of Warcraft Guide, Joana’s Guide, and Zygor’s Guide. A few videos of how to use these tools would be great. The descriptions and pics are very good, but videos are a great tool to get that info across.

Once you get the Auction House system down you will find that you no longer have to spend much time, if any, grinding/farmng with you main characters. All the AH stuff can be done with youir banker, levavng your mains with time to raid, PvP, level, or whatever.

Overall, Zuggy’s Guide is very thorough in its gold getting coverage for World of Warcraft, and is perhaps the most complete guide to World of Warcraft Gold Secrets.
