World of Warcraft Herbalism Guide to Gold Farming
When it comes to World of Warcraft, there a few specific professions that will do much better than the rest. Of these, the three major gather professions are often the best suited to making gold in World of Warcraft, with Herbalism often rated the highest in terms of profits. Herbalism, however, can be difficult to master because of the complete randomness in regards to the node locations and the vast number of them out there. You might often ask, “What should I be searching for and where should I be?”
What to Harvest to make the Most WoW Gold.
Many WoW guides give the same basic information as it relates to herbalism. They are largely accurate in their advice, but you can still make much more from your efforts with a little experience and ingenuity. The lower level herbalism nodes are generally not going to make you a great deal of wealth, but luckily, they are easy to find, despite their random spawning. They are easy to get to and not surround by hordes of mobs.
When it comes to the higher level nodes, this is where trouble usually starts. Aside from being incredibly random in their spawning, they tend to be difficult to locate, especially if there is another player in the area. When you get to the upper levels and begin the hunt for black lotuses, dreamfoil, or ghost mushrooms, these can be incredibly difficult to find, but are also the most valuable herbs in the game.
Where You Should Harvest in World of Warcraft
Early searches for herbs will take you to places like Stranglehorn Vale as well as Westfall, but later in the game you will want to get into areas such as Un’Goro Crater and the Plaguelands to find those rare spawns. In the Outland, your options are a little more obvious even with the rarity of the spawns. This is due to the fact that at the higher levels, you can usually harvest the mobs themselves. The Bog Lords and the plant mobs in Zangarmarsh and Terokkar Forest are often great sources for rare drops and can include the Unidentified Plant Parts, which is a reputation item, the motes of life, and other high level herbalism nodes. Some of the better World of Warcraft Gold Guides give you detailed information on how to farm from the Bog Lords and make upwards of 75-100 gold an hour, especially if you grab the different mushroom spawns that are used for Sporeggar reputation.
Herbalism provides a lot of opportunities for the gold maker in World of Warcraft. You can even combine Mining and Herbalism to maximize your results, especially in areas such as Nagrand which will include both nodes that can skyrocket your gold-making potential.
