Why Buying Gold Can Get Your Account Banned in WoW
Many WOW players today likes to buy WoW gold, items, accounts and power leveling sessions, but snowstorm together with other players think about this an act of cheating. Well, you’ve got the capability to improve your personality to a far higher level or higher quality items, weapons, armors and other gear with real money. It’s prejudiced for those players who doesn’t have the additional money to spare or would wish to play it the old fashion way. Except for example, everyone knows what Nintendo is right? Well when game shark came out did Nintendo attempt to stop or hinder them from selling? No, they did not. But naturally, for people that selected to cheat the game wasn’t needed to play with others that did not need to cheat. So that is one conclusion as to the reasons why players and Snowstorm doesn’t approve of selling or purchasing gold. Interruption from Warcraft gold farmers. Yes I am sure we have all experienced that farming now a days have been a little tricky thanks to the overpowering population of WoW gold farmers.
If gold wasn’t ready to be sold using real money the farmers would not exist and players would be in a position to enjoy the game more. Maybe snowstorm should enforce a law to farming? Or permit players to tag a mob and permit them preparation time to kill the mob they were targeting? Well, Snowstorm isn’t a state and even if this is so the govt today isn’t perfect either.
Another excuse why I should understand players hate the concept of purchasing / selling gold is really because it interrupts the economy. If there’s excess gold, then the value of gold drops and the value of the item will rise causing players to spend more gold on the item than what they might typically need to pay.
Basic economics 101, inflation and deflation. A player can only farm an X quantity of gold over a given time period. The more gold there’s, the more the item will cost, the more a player will have to farm unless they purchase the gold naturally.
Well with all of these issues concerning selling gold, why has not Snowstorm done something? I suspect they are working on a solution but believe it not, farmers do make up about thirty percent of their population. Somewhere in the back of their mind I am sure they do not want to lose all customers. What they do instead is ban some at a time and they’d be needed to get a new World of Warcraft cd key.
Extra money flow for the powerful O Snowstorm . Yes farmers and sellers do get their accounts banned. But have not heard of any buyers getting banned however. Fortunate for us? As a few of you may know, another preferred mmorpg publisher is Sony Online Entertainment ( SOE ) with their many leading titles including the 1st MMORPG hit EverQuest, Star Wars Universes , and EverQuest 2. Why am I bringing up SOE? Because they have introduced the Sony Exchange.
The Sony Exchange is a safe market place for players to auction their currencies and items to other players for real money. In return SOE naturally takes in a tiny fee for themselves. Beguiling isn’t it? Well with this new leading edge concept, they also of plans of releasing a new game where they are going to be selling currencies and items themselves. That just about just beats the second paragraph of not cheating. But naturally I am sure they are going to create express servers where the buying / selling of virtual assets may not be permitted. If SOE is getting into the secondary market why can’t the players? I do ponder whether Snowstorm should decide to get into the secondary market themselves. Accept it not, but Warcraft customer base more than quadruples what SOE has in total. As you can see SOE is accepting the new trend and making a big load of profit, I am sure Snowstorm would chase up on the idea too. EverQuest was the 1st mmorpg hit ever, Snowstorm renowned for their realtime system games now has the hottest mmorpg too. I would not see why they will not follow and collect some of the money themselves.
Overall, though we don’t know of Blizzards motives for people who buys WoW gold, I will say for certain that I don’t know a single person who has gotten their accounts banned for purchasing WoW gold.
